This can happen for a couple of reasons. First, the individual never made a commitment to change their lifestyle, living healthy is not a temporary proposition. When a person makes the commitment to change their lifestyle by incorporating consistent weight training, cardio and sensible eating habits then their body will lose the excess weight and keep it off. However, when the individual does not commit to this lifestyle change then they will resort to the old habits that caused them to gain weight in the first place.
Why is it that a number of people lose weight only to gain it back (and then some) shortly thereafter?
